Here is a video I did about the keynote that Gary Vaynerchuk did at this years Re/Max Kickstart rally in downtown Toronto. Gary was full of energy and provided us with some great information about how to best use social media for our business.

I came away with that all you need to do to be successful with social media is to be yourself and don’t market to people. People will find you when they need you if you provide them value. You need to be patient!

Here is a video I did about the unit sales for single-detached houses and condominiums in the Kitchener Waterloo area. This information is useful for people who live in these areas as well as those who are looking to buy or sell and want to know what the top selling areas are. How Many Houses Should A Buyer Look At Before Buying

http://www.teammcneil.com – A couple of years ago I was working with a buyer. She only looked at a couple of houses and she found one she really liked. She was nervous because she was afraid she would regret it if she bought too quickly. She felt that she had to look at more houses. I did research on the property for her and we discovered that the house she liked was really good value. She decided to buy the house.

Did a video about buyers who are nervous about buying a house too early in the search process because they feel they didn’t look at enough houses. The first house you look at could be the best house or it could take 20 before you find the right one.

Keep in mind that this might not be a problem for some people who have a really good memory and this is just what I have experienced with my clients. I think it is a good idea to only look at 5-7 houses in one day. If you want to look at more then distribute them to multiple days.

The reason why people like this particular home style is because they work great for people who are downsizing such as baby boomers or seniors. Bungalows are also a good option for people who are looking for single story homes and don’t like doing stairs or they don’t want to live in an apartment style condo.

Another reason why bungalows are a good option is because they work great for building on additions or adding on a second story. If the basement is finished, you can really increase your living space.

Bungalows also hold their value and they often have really good resale because they are such a highly sought after home style. They are becoming a rare breed of home because they require wider lot size. In Kitchener Waterloo we still have a wide range of bungalows to choose from. When I wrote this blog post, there were 125 bunglaows for sale in the Kitchener Waterloo area. These bungalows range in price from $169,900 all the way up to $995,000. If you are looking at buying a new construction bungalow, there are currently 16 for sale ranging in price from $370,000 all the way up to $990,000.
