I did a video tutorial for the all new realtor.ca iPhone app. This is a full featured app that is based on geolocation. GPS enabled so you can find new listings near you, open houses, property search by area and realtor search. I really like this app and I think potential buyers will find it really convenient and easy to use. If you have an iPhone and are looking for a house, I recommend downloading the iPhone realtor.ca app!
Mobile Technology can be really convenient if you know when to utilize it. Today on my way home, I experienced an example of this convenience. Just think how many other possibilities there are. See the following video I did.
All I needed was an iPhone, iPhone adapter, car that can play an iPhone through the speakers and a really resourceful wife.

Recently I decided to setup a new website for our tech savvy clients. Since I am a techie, I thought it would be fitting to have a website that focuses on those types of clients. If you happen on to this blog post and would like to learn more about my new website, checkout http://www.hightechagent.ca.

Recently I read a letter by Steve Jobs regarding the fact that Apple refuses to support flash on the iphones or any other device that Apple comes out with. Letter was titled “Thoughts on Flash“. How does this effect me… It effects me because one of our websites utilizes flash and every single video that I create is a flash based video. I export my videos to FLV format. I use flash video plugins on my blog. This means I am going to need to switch everything over to something other then flash. I am also noticing now that Youtube recommends that video formats be MPEG-2, Mpeg-4 or H.264. This is a bit of a pain for me!
I guess HTML5 is suppose to be the successor to Flash and all dynamic content. I have read recently that Scribd ditches flash for html5. When I start seeing things like this start happening, I need to get my head out of the sand and follow. Hopefully it won’t be too difficult to switch over to.
I was never really a big fan of flash and now that it could possibly go obselete it bothers me that I ever agreed to implement it on our websites. The last thing I want to have happen is to have Google blacklist my site because I have a flash movie that is taking too long to load.
So I guess the question I need to ask is, what is the best format for me to export to when doing web videos?
