Hello everybody! I did a video for the Pamper Yourself for a Year draw that we are running with our sevice club the Kin Club of Woolwich.

The early bird draw is happening on Dec 22, 2012 at the Central in Elmira. The prize for the early bird draw is 52 $25 gift certificates for anywhere of your choosing. The main draw is taking place on March 10, 2012 and the grand prize for that draw will be 52 $50 gift certificates for anywhere of your choosing.

There will also be many other smaller gift certificate prizes to be won.

Net proceeds for the draw will go to the Womwns Crisis Services of Waterloo Region, various sports teams, educational and community projects in the Waterloo Region.

There will be 5000 tickets sold.

Tickets are only $20.

The very best part about this draw is that I will drop off the tickets to you. I know the holidays are upon us so I want to make this as simple as possible for anyone who might like to buy a ticket.

This was one of my favourite rooms in the house. Check out that sofa and big screen with projector!!

Mel and I went up to London to check out all three of the different dream homes which could be won as part of the London Dream Home Lottery for 2011. The houses were beautiful but we especially liked the Ultimate Dream Beach Home Grand Bend. This home is roughly worth 900,000. If you win, you also get a Chevrolet Equinox and an additional 100,000. Total prize is worth 1,077,670.39!!!

The house was still under construction and will be finished in about a week and a half. We were still able to get through. They were still working on the hot tub and swimming pool. There were two lovely walkouts from both the kitchen and main floor master bedroom. There were five bathrooms. The ceilings had to be at least 10ft high. Modern decor. Felt like something you would see in Florida. Beautiful kitchen and dining room area. Two Master bedrooms. one on the mainfloor and one upstairs. There was another huge guest bedroom with two separate beds. In the lower level there were two more bedrooms, an amazing recroom with big screen, and the coolest sofa I have ever seen. There was also a sitting area and wet bar. We  also noticed a dishwasher in the wet bar. The house is about a five minute walk to the beach! All furnishings, appliances and electronics were included. I think if you won, you could either choose whether you want all furnishings or get the money instead.

We successfully completed the Run for the Cure as TEAM REMAX for another year. What an emotional experience. I think what really made it hit home for me was the signs on people back that said, “I am running for Mom” or “I am running for Grandma”.

My goal for our team this year was $4000 and I think we raised around $3000. We won’t know our final numers until early next year. Our team was half the size of last years so I knew we wouldn’t be able to do as well. TEAM REMAX as a whole had raised $46000 online. That is amazing and I am glad that our Kitchener-Waterloo team could be part of it. I want to congratulate Durham Region for another successful year. They are the benchmark for all of us and every year continue to do an amazing job!

I wanted to post the pictures again but unfortunately, our camera battery was dead. The best I could do for pictures was a few shots I got with my Blackberry. A friend of mine has some other pictures that I will upload as well. I am a terrible picture taker!! Sorry!

TEAM REMAX (K-W)

In just two weeks I will be running with our Team, (Team Remax) around Bingeman park to help raise funds to find a cure for *** cancer. Many people die from this type of cancer every year and we need to support ongoing research to help find a cure! I have known people who have had *** cancer and died. This past year I lost someone close to me from pancreatic cancer so I will be running for her.

I am so proud of the people who helped us last year. This year is shaping up to be another good year. We have over 20 people on or team so far! Our team as a whole is very a strong team. We represent only a small part of Team Re/Max. This team has continually raised money year after year through the Yard Sale for the Cure and the Run for the Cure. Once again Team Re/MAx is aiming to raise 100,000. We hope to help with that goal any way that we can.

As you know, I don’t like to use my blog for solicitation but this is different. This is for a good cause. So please support us!!!
